My name is Jimmy Davis and photography is my newly discovered passion. It all started back in the mid 1990's when I purchased my Canon Digital Rebel XT. It opened up a whole new world to explore!
At first, I shot anything and everything. It was fun and I learned a lot about my camera and photography in general. Over the years, I started to develop an eye for botanical photography. Much of this website is dedicated to it.

I have dabbled in other areas, including landscape, wildlife, and studio. Each style has been exciting for me because they all have their own challenges to learn.
As I learned more about photography, I eventually grew out of my Rebel XT and have since moved on to the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 5DSR. I absolutely LOVE shooting with the 5DSR. Combined with my macro and telephoto lenses, it has proven to be an amazing camera!
